Certification Validity & Labelling Requirements
IMDA certificates in Singapore are valid for a period of five years, which helps businesses to ensure and maintain that their products are compliant throughout the whole process of the product lifecycle. You can easily renew the certification starting no earlier than 30 days prior to expiration. It also does not need local laboratory testing, which expedites the approval process. To ensure proper compliance, however the products must meet labeling requirements including importer “Dealer Registration Number” and “Complies to IMDA Standards.”
